Prema Katha Chitram ,Something Something USA collections

Prema Katha Chitram is drawing huge crowds in Andhra Pradesh. But the film is yet to gain much patronage in USA. In its first weekend the film could not get good openings but by the end of second week, the overall figure is pretty decent for a small-budget movie. As of now, the total collections for the film in USA are around Rs 37 lakhs ($ 62,376).   Prema Katha Chitram is directed by J Prabhakara Reddy and produced by R Sudarshana Reddy.   Meanwhile, Siddharth's Something Something and its Tamil version Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru have got okay openings. In its first weekend, the Telugu version got just Rs 13.30 lakhs ($ 22,787) which is a pretty bad number. But if we add the Tamil version's amount ($ 37,209/Rs. 21.73 lakhs), the amount is decent.  In the first weekend, both the versions together collected Rs 35.03 lakhs.  Something Something is directed by Sundar C and produced by Lakshmi Ganapathi Films' Subramanyam.  ...(More..)
