why Azad replaced as AP congress in-charge ??

Congress High Command on Sunday replaced the Andhra Pradesh state Congress Incharge Gulam Nabi Azad with another senior party leader and Madhya Pradesh former Chief minister Digvijay Singh.  As the general election are less than a year away, the AICC President Sonia Gandhi brought some changes in the Congress. Azad was removed from the party incharge post and the same was given to Digvijaya Singh who earlier also looked after the party affairs in the state.  Sources said that the Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy complained against Azad for several times to Sonia Gandhi.

It is learnt that Azad insisted Reddy to do some favours like awarding contract works to this supporters. At some point of time, Azad also blackmailed the CM when the latter declined to do the same. Unable to cope with the pressure, Reddy submitted a written complaint to Sonia Gandhi and requested her to change the Congress incharge.  While, senior Congress leader and MP K Sambasiva Rao was appointed as permanent invitee to CWC (Congress Working Committee) and former minister from Mahbubnagar G Chinna Reddy has been given AICC Secretary post. Another senior leader VH Hanomantha Rao retained his Secretary post in the fresh revamp of the AICC.
